A thermostat is a part of a control structure which senses the temperature of a system in order to ensure that the system’s temperature is retained near a preferred setpoint. The thermostat does this by turning heating or cooling devices on or off, or controlling the flow of a heat transfer fluid as needed, to preserve the correct temperature.
A thermostat may have power over a unit for heating or cooling system or a constituent part of a heater or air conditioner. Thermostats can be made in many ways and may use an assortment of sensors to find out the temperature. The output of the sensor then reins the heating or cooling equipment. A Thermostat may turn on and off at temperatures on any of the two sides of the setpoint. Lenox thermostats are available in three types: Wifi thermostats, Zoning devices and Digital thermostats. You can go for whichever variant suits your requirements.
